3D scanning and reverse engineering

We scan dies and parts in 3D to rebuild worn die components, compare parts to CAD, or recreate a die when no drawings exist.

3D measurement of a part

Scanning dies to rebuild components

A worn insert or punch with no up-to-date drawing can be scanned, rebuilt in 3D and machined again.

Scanning parts against CAD

Stamped parts are scanned and compared with the CAD model. The colour map shows deviations across the whole surface, alongside the CMM report.

Recreating a die without drawings

When a die has no usable data, we scan the die and the part and rebuild the 3D model needed for modifications or a replacement die.
