Stamping dies for car makers and Tier 1 suppliers

Transfer, progressive, tandem and hot stamping dies in steel or cast iron for car makers and Tier 1s, each delivered with its checking fixture.

Cast iron stamping dies

Stamping dies are our core business and about 80% of our activity. Since 2010 we have designed and built dies for body-in-white, structural and chassis parts, for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa.

Every die family for the press shop

  • Transfer dies for large and deep parts moved from station to station by the press transfer.
  • Progressive dies for high-volume parts fed from coil, with all operations in one die.
  • Tandem dies for press lines, one operation per press: draw, trim, pierce, flange, restrike.
  • Hot stamping dies for press-hardened safety parts up to 2,000 MPa.

Each die is delivered with its checking fixture, built to your standards.

From part data to buy-off

Every project follows the same path: feasibility study and forming simulation, die process (method plan), 3D die design, casting and machining, assembly, tryout, inspection and buy-off. You validate each milestone, and one project manager follows the die from kick-off to start of production on your press line.

Steel or cast iron

Small and medium dies are built from tool steel. Large dies are built on cast iron bases and blocks, with hardened steel inserts on the working surfaces. The construction follows your die standards.

Tried out before shipping

Dies are tried out in our plants on 40 presses from 200 to 3,200 t. Each tryout loop comes with a part measurement report, up to buy-off. We then support the home-line tryout on your press.

Built to OEM die standards

Our designers work to the die standards of each customer: components, steel grades, coatings, safety and handling. One dedicated team per customer keeps that knowledge from one program to the next.

Frequently asked questions

Which die standards do you work to?

We build to the die standards of each car maker or Tier 1 supplier. Send us your standard with your inquiry.

Do you deliver the checking fixture as well?

Yes. Every die we deliver comes with its checking fixture.

Can you also produce the parts?

Yes. We can run series production with your dies in our plants and deliver the parts to your sites. Contact us to discuss it.

In this section

  • Transfer dies in cast iron

    Transfer dies

Transfer dies for large structural and body parts: rails, reinforcements, pillars, cross members. Transfer motion simulated before the die is built.

  • Progressive dies

    Progressive dies

Progressive dies for high-volume automotive parts fed from coil: brackets, reinforcements, seat and structural components. Strip layout simulated upfront.

  • Tandem dies on a cast iron base

    Tandem dies

Tandem line dies for large body and structural parts: draw, trim, pierce, flange and restrike dies, built to OEM standards with checking fixtures.

  • Press-hardened part leaving a hot stamping die

    Hot stamping dies

Hot stamping (press hardening) dies with integrated cooling for ultra-high-strength safety parts up to 2,000 MPa: pillars, door rings, reinforcements.

  • Checking fixture for a body part

    Checking fixtures

Every die we deliver comes with its checking fixture, built to the customer's standards so parts can be validated as soon as the die runs.
