Tandem dies for automotive press lines
Tandem line dies for large body and structural parts: draw, trim, pierce, flange and restrike dies, built to OEM standards with checking fixtures.

One operation per press
In a tandem press line, presses stand in line and robots or loaders move the part from one press to the next. Each press holds one die and performs one operation. A set of tandem dies typically includes a draw die followed by trim, pierce, flange and restrike dies.
Large body and structural parts
Tandem lines are used for the largest stamped parts: body sides, roofs, hoods, doors, fenders, floor panels and large structural parts. Each die is designed for your line, your automation and your stroke rate.
Draw die and surface quality
The draw die sets the shape and the surface quality of the part. We define the die face and the binder with forming simulation, then validate draw depth, thinning and springback before the castings are ordered.
Built to OEM die standards
Tandem dies are built on cast iron bases with hardened steel inserts, to the die standards of each car maker. They are tried out and measured in our plants, then supported during home-line tryout on your press line. Each set ships with its checking fixture.
