Stamping simulation and feasibility study
Feasibility study and forming simulation from your part data: thinning, splits, wrinkles and springback, with part change proposals before the die is designed.

Feasibility from your part data
As soon as we receive your part data, we run a feasibility study: can the part be stamped as designed, in how many operations, with which die type?
Thinning, splits, wrinkles and springback
Forming simulation in AutoForm shows where the material thins, splits or wrinkles, and how much the part springs back after forming. Springback compensation is built into the die face before machining.
Part change proposals
If the part is not feasible as designed, we propose targeted changes, such as radii, draw depth or cut-outs, and discuss them with your engineers.
The basis for the die design
The validated simulation becomes the basis of the die process and of the 3D die design. It reduces tryout loops and secures the lead time.
Frequently asked questions
Do you simulate high-strength steels and aluminium?
Yes, with the material data for your grade.
Will we receive the simulation results?
Yes. Results are shared and reviewed with your engineers.
A project in mind?
